Branka Jauković is a highly experienced attorney and expert in tax and administrative law, with over 40 years of professional experience in Montenegro’s judiciary and public administration. She graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1983 and passed the Bar Exam in 1988.

Her legal career began at the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, where she worked as a trainee from 1985 to 1988. During this time, she gained in-depth knowledge of criminal and administrative procedures, which later directed her toward specialization in tax law.

A central part of her professional journey was her work at the Tax Administration of Montenegro, where she served as a Judge for Tax Misdemeanors from 1992 to 2011. In this role, she handled a large number of cases involving tax offenses, issuing judgments that required deep familiarity with both regulatory frameworks and procedural law. Her impartiality, legal expertise, and collaboration with tax authorities and inspection bodies earned her a reputation as one of the most respected judges in this field.

Following her judicial tenure, Branka continued her career within the Tax Administration, holding several senior and advisory positions. She served as a legal advisor to the director, supervised the work of tax inspectors, and later moved into management roles in the departments responsible for planning, analysis, and internal control. As the head of internal control, she was responsible for developing oversight systems and strengthening institutional integrity. She was later reappointed to a senior planning position, where she continued to shape internal regulatory mechanisms and compliance practices.

After retiring from public service in 2024, Branka Jauković joined Calawoffice as Partner and Attorney – Senior Partner, bringing with her a wealth of institutional knowledge and legal experience.
